Different projectiles travel at different speed - higher the class slower the speed will be, but which weapon is faster, Cannon or Plasma Accelerator? This is a test to see at what velocity different class Cannon and Plasma Accelerator projectiles travel and to compare them between both weapons.

6 weapons - 2 from each type - Large Plasma Accelerator, Medium Railgun, Medium Multi-Cannon, Huge Cannon, Medium Beam and Large Pulse lasers - fired at 500m up to 2500m. Further away you are from your target less damage your weapons will deal.

We all know that Fixed weapons are the most powerful, but how much weaker are Gimbaled and Turret variants?

Weapons are a big and important part of Elite:Dangerous universe even if you are not a fighter. In future we can expect some procedural generated weapons and more variations of huge weapons.

We always wanted to make heat management more interesting and integral in Elite: Dangerous – this is why there has always been the concept of weapon heat overspill, even though it previously had very little effect.

A Class 1 weapon will have damage reduction on anything larger than a hauler. A class 4 weapon will be effective against everything.
