If you want to exit Super-Cruise and see stations letterbox right away then all you need to know is that stations are facing planets they are orbiting with letterbox.

Super-Cruise is traveling within system to reach planets, stations, stars or other navigational objects. In future there might be micro jumps if there are more than one star in same system but for now super-cruise is only way to reach distant objects.
